Terms of Use

1. Who these terms are with

"Klibo", "we" and "us" mean the operator above. "You" means the person using the app. By using Klibo you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

2. What Klibo is

Klibo is an arcade-style game built around math, memory and visual-focus challenges, with daily challenges, progression, collectible companions, optional cloud accounts, leaderboards and asynchronous player challenges.

Klibo is a game. It is not educational, medical, diagnostic or other regulated advice, and nothing in it should be treated as an assessment of ability. Scores measure performance in Klibo's own games and nothing beyond that.

3. Eligibility and accounts

Core play needs no account and no personal details.

A Klibo cloud account is available to adults only. At first launch the app asks for a coarse age range; if you select an age-protected range, the app stays entirely local and cloud accounts, leaderboards, challenges, advertising and purchases are unavailable. This is a deliberate design choice, not a limitation to work around.

If you create an account:

• Use an email address or Apple ID you are entitled to use.
• Keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Your public username is generated by Klibo, not chosen by you, from a fixed vocabulary. Once onboarding is complete it is fixed, so rankings and records stay attached to a stable identity.
• One person, one account. Do not create accounts to evade a restriction or a block.

4. Fair play

Do not:

• manipulate, falsify or automate scores or competitive submissions;
• exploit, probe or interfere with Klibo's service endpoints, or attempt to access another player's data;
• interfere with other players' use of the game;
• use Klibo unlawfully, or to harass anyone.

We may exclude results we reasonably believe are invalid, and may restrict or suspend online features for an account where reasonably necessary for fraud, abuse, security or legal compliance. Core offline play is not affected by such a restriction. If you think we have got it wrong, contact support@klibo.app.

5. Social features

Challenges are friendly, asynchronous score chases. They share a generated username, the game and the result — nothing else. Klibo has no chat, no messaging and no free-text fields; the only thing you can send another player is a challenge and a score.

Challenges use each player's own adaptive difficulty. They are not equal-conditions tournaments and carry no prize of any kind.

Your rivals list is private to you, capped at 100 players, and adding someone does not notify them.

Player safety. You can block or report any player from Arena, from an invitation, or from player options. Blocking is immediate and mutual in effect: it removes pending invitations, queued notifications and rival entries in both directions. Reports record the two account identifiers and the reason you selected, are private to Klibo, and are reviewed by the operator. Do not file false reports.

6. Companions and cosmetics

The ordinary collection currently has 30 companions. You begin with Peach and earn one free choice at every ten-level milestone, choosing any unowned ordinary companion; all 30 are earnable by Level 290. The separate Champion award follows its own stated challenge rules.

Companions and cosmetics are decorative only. They confer no competitive advantage, cannot be transferred, traded, sold or cashed out, and have no monetary value. Previously earned companions and banked unlock credits remain available to you.

7. Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. The available products and exact localised price are shown before you buy.

• Go ad-free is a one-time, non-consumable purchase that removes banner and between-game ads.
• Ultra Plan is a one-time, non-consumable purchase that includes Go ad-free and unlocks all 30 characters.
• There is no subscription, and no coin or currency wallet.

Both purchases belong to the Apple Account that bought them, not to a Klibo account, so they need no sign-in. Restore Purchases in the store brings them back on any device signed in to the same Apple Account.

Purchases cannot be cashed out or transferred. Refunds are handled by Apple under its process, and your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

8. Advertising

Eligible adult free players may see third-party advertising supplied by Google between games. Ads are never shown during active play. Players who have bought Go ad-free or the Ultra Plan see no banner or between-game ads. When a run ends, any adult player may choose to watch a short rewarded video for one extra life; it plays only if they tap to watch it. Age-protected profiles see no advertising at all.

Advertising is delivered by Google, not by us. We do not choose or endorse individual ads, and availability and content depend on Google's services, your regional privacy choices and technical availability. Google processes data as an independent controller when ads are requested or shown; what it receives, and how to change your consent choice, are set out in section 7 of the Privacy Policy.

If you see an ad you believe is inappropriate, report it using the link in Me → Privacy, support & legal → Ads & going ad-free, or contact support@klibo.app. We will pass valid reports to Google, which controls what is served.

9. Changes to the game and the service

Klibo is a live game. We may tune difficulty, XP, unlock pacing and balance; add, change or retire content and cosmetics; adjust or withdraw online features; and take the service down for maintenance.

We aim to preserve earned progress wherever practical. Online services are not guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free, and some features depend on third parties (Apple, our hosting provider) whose availability we do not control.

10. Ownership

Klibo's software, game designs, artwork, audio, branding and content are owned by the operator or its licensors. All audio in Klibo is original and synthesised in-house. You get a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. Third-party services and SDKs remain owned by their providers.

You may share screenshots and leaderboard images Klibo lets you export.

11. Ending your use

You may stop using Klibo at any time. Signed-in users can delete their cloud account in Me → Delete account & data; see the Privacy Policy for exactly what that removes and what survives.

Deleting a Klibo account does not cancel, refund or erase App Store purchase history held by Apple against your Apple Account.

We may suspend or terminate an account that seriously or repeatedly breaches these terms. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you why and give you a route to respond.

12. Liability

Klibo is provided as-is for entertainment. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of progress, or loss arising from service interruption, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Klibo purchases in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under mandatory consumer protection law in your country.

13. Apple

Your licence to use Klibo obtained from the App Store is governed by Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement, unless a custom EULA is supplied in App Store Connect. These terms supplement that licence for Klibo-specific online services and features and do not reduce rights that cannot legally be waived.

These terms are between you and the operator, not Apple. In particular:

• Support. We, not Apple, are responsible for maintaining and supporting Klibo. Apple has no obligation to provide support.
• Warranty. If Klibo fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; Apple has no other warranty obligation.
• Claims. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims relating to Klibo, including product-liability claims, claims that it fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, consumer-protection or privacy claims, and claims that it infringes someone else's intellectual property.
• Legal compliance. You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Pune, India have jurisdiction over disputes arising from them.

This does not take away your local rights. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts where that law gives you the right to do so. Nothing in this section overrides mandatory consumer protection in the EEA, the United Kingdom, or any other jurisdiction whose law applies to you.

15. General

If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. We may update these terms and will change the effective date above; material changes will be signalled in the app, and continuing to use Klibo after that means you accept them.
